The electronics of the camera and the CCD itself cause the Bias that shows itself like a constant value which is added to the ones due to the shootted image, a true offset on the measure. Because also the CCD sensor produces it, the Bias changes with the temperature of the CCD sensor in accordance with the gain corrently in use. For the platforms CHROMA C3, Discovery, Hurricane, iCAM it can be checked by software (Gain/Offset) while for the HiRes into the head accessible from outside exists a trimmer that allows you his regulation.
Questo termine indica il segnale acquisito dalla camera in una posa di durata uguale a zero. Esso e' causato dall’elettronica della camera e dal CCD stesso, si manifesta come un valore costante che si somma a quelli dovuti all’immagine ripresa, un vero e proprio offset sulla misura.
