Camera Library
Questo piccolo lavoro vuole allungare ulteriormente la gia' lunga vita delle camere digitali della ex DTA.
Si tratta di camere digitali raffreddate per usi scientifici.
La libreria qui rinnovata (DCL.DLL) permette di essere utilizzata sui piu' recenti sistemi operativi Win10/Win11 a 32bit o 64bit.
Purtroppo solo le camere USB sono utilizzabili. Il motivo sta nel fatto che mentre il driver di basso livello e' disponibile gratuitamente, quello per le schede PCI richiede il rinnovo di una licenza (JUNGO) veramente costosa, percui se non si dispone di questa le camere basate su porta PCI non funzioneranno sugli ultimi S.O.
E' stato anche riscritto, perche' ormai obsoleto, anche il "camera select" come i plugIn per programmi terzi.
All interno si trovano anche diversi dimostrativi in formato sorgente e binario.
Occorre caricare le librerie del C/C++ se necessario, che trovate sotto il download principale.
Le versioni a 32 o 64 bit si trovano nelle rispettive cartelle di bin/x32 o bin/x64

This small work aims to further extend the already long life of the former DTA's digital cameras.
These are cooled digital cameras for scientific uses.
The library renewed here (DCL.DLL) allows it to be used on the most recent 32bit or 64bit Win10/Win11 operating systems.
Unfortunately only USB cameras are usable. The reason lies in the fact that while the low level driver is available for free, the one for PCI cards requires the renewal of a very expensive license (JUNGO), so if you don't have this the PCI port based cameras will not work on the last S.O.
The "camera select" as well as the plug-ins for third-party programs have also been rewritten because they are now obsolete.
Inside you will also find several demos in source and binary format.
You need to load the C/C++ libraries if necessary, which you can find under the main download.
The 32 or 64 bit versions are found in the respective bin/x32 or bin/x64 folders
