Guided experiments and Analysis routing

Guided experiments and Analysis routing

The 1.0 release line freezes the guided catalog at 54 experiments. The catalog is intentionally treated as data rather than as a collection of GUI special cases.

ExperimentPreset2D

ExperimentPreset2D contains the reproducible initial values required by one guided experiment: domain/grid, boundary/CAP choices, wave-packet preparation, potential scene, time step, solver/model settings, experiment-specific controls and representative real-world scales.

Preset indices are implementation identifiers used by the release catalog. User-visible names may evolve, so other persistent routing uses stable textual identifiers wherever possible.

Stable Help IDs

ExperimentHelpCatalog2D maps each preset to a stable helpId. The Help tree contains bilingual Physics and Model & Constraints pages under this identifier. This prevents a wording or translation change in the combo box from breaking documentation links.

Analysis pages

AnalysisPageCatalog2D maps each preset to one of the experiment-specific Analysis pages. The outer Analysis dock always retains the Cross-section tab; experiment-specific views live inside a QStackedWidget. The central catalog is independently testable and replaces scattered if (presetIndex == ...) routing.

Cross-cutting audit

ConsolidationAudit2D checks all 54 presets for catalog alignment, unique names and Help IDs, valid Analysis destinations, finite/legal numerical parameters, valid potential scenes and positive representative real-world scales.

The optional --consolidation-audit runtime mode goes further on the target Qt/MSVC build: for every preset it exercises Apply, Analysis routing, deterministic Reset, Play/one numerical step/Pause/Reset, finite scalar or Dirac state, and JSON serialize/parse/apply round-trip.
