Doxygen publication performance profile

QPE v7.9.8 / Step 59.4.1

The standard build_doxygen.bat deliberately disables Graphviz output (HAVE_DOT = NO).

Why: the source tree contains nearly 300 named types. Even a reduced per-class graph profile produced about 280 Graphviz jobs and Doxygen then entered a long SVG post-processing phase (Patching output file ...). The diagrams are useful during development but are not required for the public API/source documentation.

The standard publication build therefore keeps:

  • complete file/class/function documentation;
  • source browser and cross references;
  • textual class hierarchy;
  • search index;
  • MathJax 3 formulas;
  • architecture and numerical-method pages.

It disables:

  • per-class inheritance Graphviz images;
  • group graphs;
  • graphical hierarchy;
  • collaboration/include/directory/call graphs.

Graphviz is still detected by the build script and its version is reported for diagnostics, but it is not invoked by the standard profile. This makes the publication build bounded and predictable on Windows.
