Essential glossary
- CAP
- Complex Absorbing Potential: a numerical region that absorbs the wavefunction near outer boundaries.
- Spinor
- A multi-component state; QPE's Dirac branch uses two complex components.
- Gauge-covariant
- A discretization preserving the proper local U(1) transformation of state and vector potential.
- Preset
- A guided configuration that chooses initial state, geometry, solver and analysis to expose a phenomenon.
- Rendering proxy
- A scalar compatibility field used by the renderer when the authoritative physical state is richer, such as a spinor.
